How many hours is a lot for a used articulating boom lift?

Anything from 3,000 to 4,000 hours of usage is considered moderately worn, while parts failure and other risks begin to emerge after 5,000 or more hours. In general, articulating boom lifts with under 1,500 hours are lightly used, while typical rental fleet usage can result in 1,500 to 3,500 hours of wear. For additional context, 400 hours per year is typical for most machines and better tolerated by heavy-duty outdoor diesel lifts.

Which articulating boom lift brands do you carry?

Aerial Titans’ selection includes used articulating boom lifts from JLG, Niftylift, and Genie, going as far back as 2013. We also carry the latest articulating boom lift models from trusted brands.

Is an articulating boom lift right for my job?

Multi-angled horizontal and vertical reach suits several applications at heights or in tight conditions, including: Working on roofs, chimneys, trees, and HVAC systems Making repairs in narrow, crowded quarters Performing outdoor work on buildings, bridges, and other tall structures Maneuvering around shelving and rafters in a warehouse or other type of storage facility Additionally, indoor applications require an electric lift, which generates zero emissions and offers quieter operation. Outdoor applications, meanwhile, benefit from heavy-duty traction wheels and greater vertical distance. Our boom lift guide covers these differences in greater detail.
